This note is very rare as only 34 were issued paying 8% interest, like this example, and there were 49 issued that paid 6% interest. These were designed to replace smaller denomination Georgia Treasury notes as of December 14, 1863. This note is dated July 27, 1864. A very rare item that is always in demand. The note grades VF and it is somewhat crisp. It is folded slightly and there is a tiny hole, barely visible from the face, on a fold. Great color and body.
