This note has been in the census for decades but it has never been available to the collecting public until now. This is an incredible rarity from the south side of the Territory of Dakota. Other than a low grade VG I sold in 1999, there have been no others. This is one of three notes known from this rare bank that was chartered in 1880 and liquidated in 1894. There are two Territorials and a State issue known. There were 3,510 sheets of Territorials and 770 sheets of State notes printed. This leaves little room to assume more could appear. This note is quite nice with good body and is problem-free. W.R. Stebbins and Alvin Fox were the signers. A chance to acquire a piece of the history of the Old West is in your hands.
