There were 11 national banks chartered in El Paso but this was the only Red Seal bank. It was barely in business for one year, from December 26, 1903 to January 1, 1905. There were only 1,093 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals printed, nothing else. This is one of the shortest lived banks in the country. Evenly circulated with excellent pen signatures of J.M.
