This gorgeous 1882 Date Back is one of three known from this Louisville bank that is known for its $100 Brown Backs, of which there are 11 reported. The centering is excellent, the color bright and fresh and the pen signatures are outstanding. This is a wonderful type note and a highlight of the William Horton, Jr. Collection.
