This 1875 First Charter $10 is a peach that came from "The Vault" decades ago. There are a total of nine notes reported from this bank until its original charter expired in 1883, and it appears to have been around with the later charter until 1896 (#2873). mazingly this town had 12 different National Banks over the years. This beauty has fantastic appeal, including faint blue paper visible on the back. This note should be a "must" for any collector of Rennselear County, or New York for that matter.
