This wonderful Kansas rarity is only the third note to appear on this Brownback-only bank. Just 1,954 sheets of $5s were printed during its short life, between 1886 and 1895. Large size outstanding in 1910 was $420. The only auction appearance of a note on this bank occurred in our March 2007 sale where we sold a VF for $12,650. This solid and intact VG won't reach that level, but it is still worth a serious bid. With great pen signatures.
