It is always great to make a wonderful new discovery and this is one for this year. Serial #E10 was note listed in the census, nor were any of the notes that came from this important Midwestern collection. The last record I can find of a low number was the 2000 sale where we sold serial #E8 at $25,300, that of course is a single-digit but only two away. The quality was probably similar but this note shows light handling and even a bend on the corner, but as I said, in Levitan there are no runs of this signature combination recorded. This is a wonderful type note.
