Located in Worcester County this town had four national banks and two issued Red Seals. This bank issued 7,740 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 5,200 sheets of $10-10-10-20 before closing in 1914. This note is evenly circulated with subdued color and great centering. Wonderful signatures of H.J. Wallace, Vice President and H.G. Townsend, Cashier. There are only nine notes reported on the bank and this note is the only Red Seal.
