In 1907, when this bank was chartered, the Grange organization was building momentum in Pennsylvania banking. They printed 1,800 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 Red Seals. This note is one of two #1 Red Seals known, there is another non-#1 as well. Some sun fading is evident so it must have hung on a wall for some period.
