I have never heard the exact story about where these $10 and $20 notes from 1863 were saved but we were fortunate some banker did us such a great service about 140 years ago. This amazing example was sold as part of the James A. Stack Collection in 1990, one of the best collections of quality and original material I have seen. I am certain a new record will be set when the hammer falls on this peach. Graded Gem UNC 65 by CGA.
