Discovery note! Solid star prefix before lower left serial number; none others reported on the $100 denomination. Our error consultant describes it as " a minor over-inking of major importance." Even after handling the landmark collections of Gregg Anderson, Frederick J. Bart, and John Whitney Walter, we've offered only one lot previous, that was a pack of $1 notes with numerous examples of filled stars. An important addition to any collection of paper money errors.
