Here is an amazing note from Lewis County that qualifies as a peach in any state of national bank notes. The paper quality is as fresh, crisp and original as any UNC note, but it was folded in half and lightly bent horizontally. It is obviously the best of the seven reported from a bank chartered in July 1927 and liquidated in December 1931, after only 4-1/2 years and 4,249 sheets of national bank notes later. The purple rubber stamped signatures could not be better.
