An exceedingly rare note from a tiny and poorly capitalized bank. Chartered in April 1907, there was just enough time to order 870 Red Seal sheets. Later, a token order of 542 1902 Date back sheets was placed before this town's only bank was liquidated in 1911. It is a wonder any notes have survived at all, but miraculously, two Red Seals have. This is the much nicer example with the Martin Collection containing a soiled VG/Fine with partial signatures. This is a peach of a note, without problems and above average in grade. Fantastic signatures of Wm. Morgan, President and A.D. Newman, Cashier.
