Here is an amazing note from Butte, Montana Territory and it's one of a cut sheet that must have been saved. This note was always UNC in my opinion but I assume they found some technical consideration to grade it AU 55. This is a beauty and all the quality you could ask for in a Montana Territory. In 1999 this note realized $41,800 at a CAA sale. Great Territorials are certainly in demand these days.
