This was the latest charter of the town's three national banks. It was chartered in 1905 and they issued 2,004 sheets of $5, $10 and $20 Red Seals. This note is one of two #1 $5s to have survived. There are also two $10 Red Seals, and a total of eight large notes reported on this Beaver County bank. There is circulation on this note but it's light and even.
