It's been a decade since I last offered this $100 from the state capital of Kansas. Back then it realized a shade under $19,000. The $100 Brown Backs have become more popular and more elusive with the passage of time. The paper on this note is excellent and the signatures are light and wispy but clear. There are ten $100 Brown Backs from the state and no others from the capital. This was likely the last one offered.
