This popular two-state National is from the first national bank to be chartered in this community. The town's second bank came 11 years later, but never issued Red Seals. The Farmers National Bank issued a fair number of notes during its life, including 3,100 sheets of Red Seals before liquidating in 1918. However, only seven notes are in the census today, with just two Red Seals. You will have no complaints with this evenly-circulated example Pen-signed by H. C. Savage, Vic President, and V. E.
