This is a problem-free example of an Original Series $10 without the charter #1741. This is the true Original Series! Excellent pen signatures of Hooper and Mastin are nicely penned and very clear. This note is the earliest $10 note known on this bank, and it's the finest of the ONLY THREE that exist without a charter number. It was part of the original shipment of Gold Bank Notes to the bank. The grading services are very tough on Gold Bank Notes in general, and they could easily call this a "10", not a "12", but it's the finest of the type.
