This note was chartered in 1871, shortly after the war ended. I would like to know the history of why it was this bank and it's officers that joined the National Banking System and saved so many pieces of paper money at that time. This note is CU with corner tip folds, as are basically all known examples. There are 52 reported so far, but there could be a few more. Today these offer great value to collectors.
