This was the earliest bank chartered (1864) in the state. There are five $1 First Charters reported as well as 21 other large size notes. Also recorded are 480 small size notes. Both of the excellent pen signatures are Thompsons. There are some minor flaws as one could expect from a note this early and well circulated.
