This was Muskegon's first national bank and it was only in business from 1870 to 1890; although five others followed in its footsteps. The bank issued only First Charters and just under 10,000 sheets. This example is the best of the two known notes. It is bright, fresh and has a very nice appearance. The bank signatures were Charles H. Hackley, President and Frank Wood, Cashier. A real beauty. Previously the Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
