This will be the first time I can find any offering of this Fairfield County bank that was the only bank in town. This bank was chartered in 1905 and only issued a total of 1,442 sheets of all large size notes and 271 small size sheets. This is one of two large reported and no small size are known. This is interesting since Don Kelly was so interested in Ohio his records are stronger on 'his' state, or so it would seem to me. Great pen signatures of J.R. Johnson, President and C.M. Wagner, Cashier but it's a bit tight along the top margin.
