The Series D note is the toughest of all of the various varieties of this issue to obtain. The Great Lakes Collection specimen brought the total to just 18 examples recorded. The quality, while still circulated, is extremely pleasing with excellent overall paper quality and excellent centering, but with several vertical folds. It appears that there are only four notes that are better. In fact, only one UNC is listed! A true rarity that is often underrated.
