This was the earlier of the two banks in this town; which serves as the Baltimore County seat. Interestingly, the city of Baltimore is not part of any county, it is an independent city and operates as such, one of only a few such cities in the nation. Baltimore County completely surrounds the city. though this bank left just $910 in large notes outstanding in 1935, fifteen of them are reported. This note has good stamped signatures.
