This town had two national banks but the other is unreported and did not issue Red Seals. This bank was chartered in 1902 and started by issuing Red Seals. There were 1,800 sheets of $5-5-5-5 and 1,435 sheets of $10-10-10-20. Notes on this bank remain elusive with 11 large notes reported. This is the sole Red Seal known and possibly one of the best on the bank. It has excellent blue stamped signatures of W.H. Mitchell, President and J.A. McCrary, Cashier. This note came from F.
