A great title only adds to the allure of this fetching $5 Brownback. The totally original surfaces are untouched and have received only a few light folds. The two-color stamped signatures put this note into an elite group. Nine notes are known but few can compete with this beauty. The bank's scarcity is attributed to the fact that it issued only First Charters and Brownbacks before it fell into receivership in 1907.
