Bold signatures enhance this evenly-circulated $5 that is the only Red Seal out of the nine large notes reported. Chartered in 1865, this bank survived the entire national banking era and must have been well-utilized, as there is just a handful of notes known to have remained. Surely a must for a serious Vermont collector.
