There were 27 national banks chartered in Dallas, and of those, only three were chartered as Red Seal banks, but only this bank issued Red them. This bank was chartered on December 5, 1903 and closed on July 31, 1905, less than 16 months later, with 5,491 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals printed as a total issue. It's an attractive note with a tiny hole in the Vice President, D.E. Grove's signature.
