An interesting note, with a lot of history. This note has interest paid stamps for 1863, 1864, and 1865 on the back and there is an issuing agent's stamp on the face. Unlike most notes of this issue, this example has good margins. There is some ink burn-through at the top of the note from the tail of the registrar's signature and a second burn through at the bottom, again on his signature. This burn-through is also slightly torn to the right. This is a Pf-8, with about 3,400 issued. The note does have a split.
