$10 1933 #A00002222A
Grade:
PCGS Ch. New 63 PPQ
The $10 1933 Silver is the undisputable key to the $10 Silver Certificates and is a note that all serious collectors aspire to own. This desirable example exhibits the fancy 50/50 serial number, blast-white paper, totally original surfaces and embossing that is unmistakable. It is a Gem by any measure save one, that of less than perfect face centering. Even the back is well-centered and the front to back registration is good. The clause "payable in silver coin" was dropped for the 1934 Series.
