A very rare, early $20 First Charter from the capital of Illinois. This new note is only the fifth reported. It's lovely with pen signatures of S. Mendenhall, President and Edw. D. Keys, Cashier. A great looking $20 First Charter and a late chartered bank for First Charters (May 12, 1882).
