This was the town's second national bank, chartered in 1871. The bank remained in business until 1919 so all notes are large size. There are just eight notes recorded and this is the only Brownback known. It is a sharp, evenly circulated note with a pen signature of A.J. Lehmicke, Cashier and a stamped signature of R.F. Hersey, President. There have been two different notes publicly offered. We sold a $1 in VF at $5,462 and there's also a Blue Seal that has been homeless in nine offerings.
