We are pleased to offer this captivating $50 Red Seal from a bank that was proud of its location. A small title change in 1905 allowed the bank the opportunity to issue 880 sheets of $50-100 Red Seals. There are 27 large notes listed with this second title but only one is a Red Seal. This example was sold once before, in a 1999 Spink America sale, where it brought $8,800. No problems save for two pinholes and a short margin split at the right.
