In 1888 the National Baseball League brought a game to Butte, Montana Territory and Elliott the photographed at 122 Main St, Butte, Montana was the sponsor. While it's odd to us that a baseball team would travel so far to play in the West, Butte was one of the wealthiest boom towns in the world with copper leading the way. The note does have some minor stains, etc.
