This was the town's first national bank. It was chartered in 1893 and placed into receivership in 1926 so they only issued large size notes. The census shows 12 notes recorded but there have only been two public offerings. Here we have a pleasing VF $20 that has black, well stamped signatures, but the bottom trim is tight in spots.
