Although more available than the type 'c', this type 'b' note is still elusive in uncirculated condition. Just two CU examples have sold at auction since 2001, both last year. The first was the Tom Flynn specimen in exactly the same grade, which sold for $8,625. Then, five months later, a PMG 63 brought a still healthy $4,600. A beautiful note with great centering.
