This bank has the distinction of being one of 21 banks in the county that has the city and state in the tombstone. This occurred, according to P. Huntoon, by the banks accountants or lawyers that filled out the charter paperwork misreading what was supposed to be written on the title line, or maybe they wanted it all there. Now it makes a cool collection. Dr. Lee had at least two as well; St. Ignace and Niles, Michigan. This note is evenly circulated and likely tied for finest known. There are only 10 notes reported and it's been four years since the last example was available. Decent stamped signatures as well.
