This is without a doubt one of the greatest errors you will ever have the chance to acquire on a $10 Hawaii, or any Hawaii note for that matter. The face is normal, but the back is missing the "HAWAII" overprint. It is not there and never was. I am trying to understand whether or not we can figure out if the sheet just lacked the overprint or if there is some other explanation of what occurred. Regardless of how it happened, it is a great error that of which there will be few opportunities to acquire, as I have note seen any other that I can remember.
