It has been more than three years since this amazing $20 Hawaii error has been available for sale. During the 10 years prior to this offering a major West Coast collector tried diligently, and at all costs to acquire the most interesting and rarest errors ever encountered. This note was put away because of its rarity, desirability and impressive upside-down stature. The quality is lovely, with two minor folds barely visible. I personally believe this error to be unique, but of course, it would have originally occurred on a sheet of 12 notes. Errors of this magnitude on specialized series like the Hawaii notes are just plain rare, and this note is so visually stunning.
