This rare National Bank Note error is completely missing the brown seal and serial numbers. I find not even a hint of paper disturbance where the brown ink might have been removed, and the note is 100% natural and unwashed. I can even tell you that it was a Type 2, as a trace of embossing remains of the charter number to the right of the bottom left serial number. My guess is that two sheets stuck together so this note got the embossing but not the ink. An impressive error and very rare on a national.
