Three national banks set up shop here, and two of them issued Red Seals. This is the more available of the two, providing an opportunity for an affordable Kentucky Red Seal. The bank opened in 1903 with 2,487 sheets of Red Seals, followed by a large issue of Blue Seals. The census contains 17 large size examples, including six Red Seals (four of them #1s). The pen signatures of J.E. Yost, President and F. Rogers, Cashier have weakened a little, but are still easily deciphered.
