This charter was established in 1890 for this one-bank town in Osceola County that issued notes until closing in 1931. The Brown Backs were the earliest type issued by the bank and this seems to be the best of the three known. This note, previously from the DeGood collection, has nice signatures of J.W. Parkhurst, President and L.G. Hammond, Cashier. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
