This bank was chartered in 1870 and there are 18 large notes reported. It went into receivership in 1933 after a good run. This note is one of three First Charters reported and all three seem to be Fine, one is an 1865 issue. We sold that note in 2010 for $3,450. Excellent pen signatures of A.J. Browne, President and Geo. E. Goodyear, Cashier. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
