This treasure has been out of the public spotlight for nearly a decade, while the note consecutive to it has surfaced on three occasions. They were no doubt saved together, but this piece shows a faint vertical fold line. We sold its mate, graded PMG 65, in March 2007, for $4,370. The note truly deserves the added "PPQ" qualifier, as the embossing is absolutely cavernous, and original!
