This rare bank was chartered in July 1884 and stayed around only until October 1896. There are only two notes known, and this #1 note appears to be the best. This note can be traced back to a Jess Peters sale in the 1970s and was acquired from the DeGood collection in 2007. A great layout and an ultra bank will make this #1 note one of the evening's most desirable items. Excellent signatures of Robert M. Steel, President and J.W. Lewis, Cashier.
