This bank was established as a national bank in 1900. There are 10 large notes reported, with this example being the best and earliest note on the bank. Stamped signatures of W.J. Rich, Vice President and O.F. Feard, Cashier. Hidden stars were used on some reentered (re-engraved plates) Series of 1882 plates. These stars signify a new master border design or other features on these notes. The tiny stars are at the lower left near the border design on the $10 notes. The star on this note is below and to the left of the plate #1752. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
