This was an early bank that issued notes right through small size, but only four First Charters are known. This note meets Wally's favorite notes criteria, the earliest possible. It's certainly close. Purchased years ago from Tom Denly. The president was S. Hill but the cashier's signature is gone. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
