This bank was chartered in 1904 and this was their earliest issue. This Upper Peninsula note is very attractive and is the earliest known on this bank. One of only three Red Seals, of the 13 large notes reported with pen signatures of J.F. Corcoran, President and J.J. Gaffney, Cashier. The Brandimore note realized $3,600. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
