Adrian, First NB, 1973
Fr. 382 $1 Original
Grade:

A very nice, in fact the finest known, note from this rare, early First Charter-only bank that was chartered in 1872 and closed by the middle of 1877. They issued $1 through $20 First Charters. Somehow there are four notes reported from this early bank, but both of the other $1 and $2 are listed as Good and the $5 is listed as Fine, making this one the finest known. The pen signatures of F.C. Beaman and E.I. Waldby are excellent. A very attractive, well centered, pen signed note. Previously from the Lee DeGood Collection. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
