This is the much scarcer type "b" Boston, not the type "c", which is known for the run of CUs. The margins are even and the red seal and serial numbers are crisp and well defined. There are 15 pieces in the list of known notes, but examples rarely appear for sale. This is the second note of a consecutive pair that surfaced in 2004. It probably never circulated, as it shared similar folds with its mate. Some expert restorations have been performed in the area around the seal, and the note looks like a solid VF.
